The overarching principle guiding this design was to minimize the building's absorption of thermal heat due to its west-facing orientation. A strategically designed minimal balcony space serves as a protective barrier against direct sunlight, allowing indirect light to grace the interior rooms finished in brick. This not only highlights the facade but also introduces a distinctive visual element.
Plants are integrated into the facade, contributing to the overall aesthetics while serving as thermal insulators. The remaining facade is adorned with a textured white finish, maintaining a design that is both uncomplicated and sophisticated.
To regulate temperatures and contribute to the facade's aesthetic appeal, the southern side features fewer or no windows, serving a dual purpose as a thermal insulator and a decorative feature.
The entrance to the residence has been meticulously crafted to create a welcoming atmosphere, drawing individuals in with its innovative and creatively conceived facade design. Throughout the structure, simplicity in design is prioritized while ensuring practical functionality. Specifically, the western side comprises two ground-floor shops, with the residential area situated on the first floor.
